Job Description:
We are looking for strong candidates part time who are ready to provide exceptional care for pets that are being transported by Continental Airlines at Newark Airport. Experience in a commercial pet care facility is a plus but not necessary. Candidates must have a love for animals; a high level of energy; ability to focus to ensure that the animals are cared for in a safe and healthy environment.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and playing with dogs
- Taking dogs for exercise or relief walks
- Feeding & medicating animals
- Cleaning up after animals
- Bathing animals
- Monitoring animal health
- Communicating with Continental personnel to make sure animals are ready for transport
- Maintaining cleanliness of Continental kennel facilities
Candidate Requirements:
- No criminal record
- An affinity for the humane care of animals
- Friendly and customer service oriented
- Flexible for scheduling
Daily Shift Availability:
Morning - 6:00AM until 2:30PM
Evening - 2:00PM until 10:30PM
Pay Rate:
Starting at $9 hour.
